Rangoli for Diwali Lakshmi Puja

Traditional rangoli for Diwali decoration , also for Lakshmi Puja
Place 4 dots in eight directions as shown in the picture below.  An eight petal lotus or ashta dhala padmam type of rangoli .  We can also draw for Friday or other auspicious occasions and festivals.

A compact dot grid will result in a compact rangoli.  We can decide the space among the dots based on the space available and the occasion too.  For example if we want to draw it inside the Pooja mandir or on a manai ( plank ) we can go far a compact dot pattern.

Central and outer patterns can be changed according to our imagination.  I have tried to keep them simple.
