Apart from rangoli and few other craft types I try to create; I also try some artificial jewellery designs on my own.  All craft ideas I do are amateur attempts      However, I would like to share most of them that are relevant to the idea of Rangoli-sans-dots - rangoli, kolam and some art and craft ideas to do it yourself. We can also use artificial or imitation jewellery a. Also called fragrant screw pine in English, mugali puvvu in Telugu (the petals are called mugalirekalu ) In Hindi and Marathi it is kewdais one of the most fascinating and fragrant flowers in nature.  It is regularly used in hair style decoration for Navratri kanya.  When we were young it was used quite often for bridal braid decoration as also for festivals and other functions. Simple Varamahalakshmi festival decoration | Easy Navratri decoration   Material needed 1.Saree lace designs ( the price of length of 9 metres approx is about Rs.1500 online for a lace with lot of embroidery work.  We can get in craft shops simple designs for a cost of Rs.60 per metre) 2.Fancy lace ( the price is Rs.6 per metre) 3.Kundan stones 4. Naalu kaal pinnal | Naalu kaal jadai This is a traditional hair style , beautiful and simple also.
