Deepavali chukki rangoli designs simple

Image
First chukki rangoli is with 5 dots. In case we are trying first time for Diwali rangoli  and are looking for a simple design  a small version (abridged version as my children say) This kolam can be drawn independently or as the central design around which we can add free hand designs to get a bigger design the dot grid is 5,3,1 . An easy white rangoli design for the ensuing festival season. The second rangoli  is with 7 by 4 chukki rangoli The third design is 9 by 5 chukki rangoli.  Add colours to the white kolam to make it even more beautiful.  In my opinion white rangoli are beautiful in their own way. The fourth kolam is w ith dot pattern 15 dots - 3 rows then 13  , 11, 9 up to 3 dots. The rose buds are important for this kolam the other patterns can be according to our choice There were a few questions about my "team" because I have many social media accounts for rangoli designs. My team has only two members Sudha and Balaji :)  i.e my hus...

This post may answer the queries - how to draw rangoli step by step, how to draw rangoli with dots.  These are interlaced dots i.e the current row of dots is placed between the previous row.  Mark this post for New Year rangoli or Deepavali rangoli designs. 13 dots kolam | 13 dots rangoli | 13-7 dots rangoli | 13 chukkala muggulu ,, Connect the dots to get curved lines without a break. This is the important tip in this rangoli Colourful lines are better than filling completely for this kolam This is one of the most awesome rangoli designs you can draw for Diwali  The next 13 dots design you can use for Sankranthi rangoli designs Connecting outer dots two samples shown Again with very few colours you get a beautiful rangoli for Dasara Two rangoli designs shown through images step by step.  The more you observe your elders drawing kolam, the easier it is to learn.  This is my experience.  When I draw for my videos, my daughter observes me occasionally...

Diwali Laxmi Puja rangoli Lakshmi Pooja

Image
Draw this traditional rangoli for festival Puja .  The beauty of this kolam is that the lines are drawn just outside the dots , curved lines that is .  So when the muggu is completed we can see a beautiful pattern of dots.  This design too belong to the lotus kolam variety.  Apart from Diwali we can draw in the Pooja room for Friday and auspicious festivals like Dasara Place 4 dots in 16 directions From the inner most dot draw lines outside dots as shown Using the inner most dots connect the edges of the lines .  A different type of chukki rangoli Decorate with kaavi ( geru ). Draw Feet of Goddess Lakshmi welcoming Her inside.  Also we can imagine that the Feet represent Lakshmi Maa who is standing in the kolam making it more auspicious.  If you are looking for rangoli for Pooja ghar you can try this.  Decorating it with this design the Puja ghar or mandir should give positive vibes.

Easy rangoli with dots for Diwali thru images

This very simple rangoli reminds us of a game we used to play during summer holidays . One person draws a line connecting two dots ,  the other person does the same anywhere on the dot grid.  It continues till all the lines are converted into boxes . Whoever completed one box wrote his name or initial inside .  After completing the game we used to count to find out who had more boxes and that person won.   We used to repeat this game in a notebook endlessly.  Those were the days without mobile phones.   We had our old notebooks called "rough note books " or the incomplete note books that were used for this game.  Using a pen or pencil we used to spend afternoons playing this indoor games till the evening.  The dot pattern is 16 dots 2 rows then 14 to 2 on either side. The design is created with only straight lines connecting the dots The outermost dots are connected with step like formation The next layer of dots are con...

15-3 dots rangoli for Diwali thru images

Simple rangoli designs for Sankranti | Diwali rangolis with dots This is quite an old rangoli design .  I have added 4 birds in this rongoli because that is how I remember seeing it on a wall of a neighbour when I was a child.   Though the dot pattern is 15 it is very simple because we use only straight lines to connect the dots. The image below shows the final picture after the colours are filled. You may wonder why I upload some images with green glass bangles.  It is our family tradition to wear 4 green glass bangles between two gold bangles.  This has been my trademark! on YouTube. When I changed or removed them, there was objection ( anbu thollai  we say in Tamil) requesting me not to change or remove the glass bangles.  I was moved and pleasantly surprised as to how closely I am being observed on my videos on YouTube.  Since then, invariably I wear them for all my kolam videos on YouTube and Facebook and hence I make it a point to uplo...

First an 8 by 8 dot rangoli design                                                                  This is actually inspired by Maharastrian rangoli designs with dots that are usually drawn with a square grid - 8 by 8 dots in this case.  The patterns are also created with straight lines instead of the combination of straight and curved lines we usually find in kolam.  However square grids are also common in kolam and so are designs with only straight lines. Next is a 8 by 1 dot pattern sangu kolam  The rangoli above is with 8 to 1 dot pattern .  Though it is common to see such shankh designs the patte the shankh are somerns drawn for creating what different from what I usually draw. The rangoli  below is big - 17 to 1 dot design , however the patterns are very easy to be drawn wi...
